bye bye 2009, hello 2010
It’s beautiful and sunny this morning. The new snow from overnight looks clean and crisp and announces all the activity around the house.
Looks like that long-haired ginger cat was back and came by the patio before checking out my neighbor’s crabapple, retracing his steps, and heading off into the woods.
I celebrated the yearly transition with a group of new and old friends. I enjoyed real hugs from good women, and some fine potluck dining. I tried this upside-down cranberry cake recipe for the party and it was a hit. Best of all there was a piece left to go with coffee this morning.
2010 is looking good.
